Teresa Aguilar Gladney

Born June 20, 1932 in Phoenix, Arizona, she lived in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa, Arizona. She worked at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and at Motorola in Scottsdale, Arizona. Known to her friends as "Terry", she volunteered tirelessly for numerous charitable organizations including The Boys Club of Tempe, The Girls Club of Tempe, Saint Vincent De Paul, Red Cross, All Saints Catholic Church and the Mesa and Chandler Arts Centers. Terry also served on the City of Tempe's Tardeada Advisory Board and was a Teacher’s Aide at several local schools. To all she met, she was considered a special friend.

Terry is the daughter of Juan and Concepcion Aguilar who will greet her in heaven. Survivors include her sisters; Socorro Federico, Concha Hertenstein, Mercedes Smith, her brothers; Frank Aguilar, Joe Aguilar, John Aguilar, Raymond Aguilar, Ynez Aguilar and Lupe Aguilar, her children; Phillip Gladney, John Gladney and Martha Raether, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Viewing will be at 6 pm followed by the Rosary at 7 pm on June 20, 2013 at Melchers Mission Chapel Mortuary, 6625 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on June 21, 2013 at All Saints Catholic Church, 1534 N. Recker Road, Mesa, Arizona. Interment will be held at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Vincent de Paul or Hospice of the Valley.
