Teresa Guevara De Oliva

Teresa Guevara de Oliva passed away October 3, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Teocuitatlan de Corona Jal. Mexico, to Jose and Guadalupe (nee Cruz) Guevara, Teresa arrived on February 14, 1927. She was married to the love of her life, Macario, for 41 years. They spent their lives traveling, enjoying the world. They owned a restaurant, and had a love for making food. In fact, Teresa was an excellent cook. She put passion in her cooking. She also took pride in her membership in the Mexican Rifle Association. She is survived by her sister Carmen Guevara, step sister Francisca Guevara, and step brothers Rigoberto Guevara, Trancito Guevara, Carlos Guevara, Jose Guevara, and Guillermo Guevara. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Macario, parents Jose and Guadalupe Guevara, sisters Elvira Guevara, Sara Guevara, Elisa Guevara, Petra Guevara, and Maria Guevara, and brothers Juan Guevara, Daniel Guevara, Jesus Guevara, and Reyes Guevara. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 6747 East Broadway Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480) 830-4422.
