November 23, 1981 – October 22, 2026
Tiffany Nichole Clay, age 44, passed away on October 22, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Born on November 23, 1981, in Bellingham, Washington, Tiffany was the beloved daughter of Mark and Nancy Clay. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and cherished member of a family whose love for her will never end.
Tiffany earned her GED and pursued additional education, including studies in pastry arts and medical assisting. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and baking, finding pleasure in creative pursuits and the simple things that made life special. Above all, Tiffany treasured time with her family. She especially enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart. Those family moments and the memories made together will continue to be treasured by those who loved her.
Tiffany shared a long-term relationship with her beloved boyfriend, Ethan Mendlesohn, who was an important part of her life. The time they shared will remain part of the memories cherished by those closest to her.
Tiffany's life included challenges, but she was more than the difficulties she faced. She was a daughter who was loved, a sister whose absence will be felt, and a person whose life touched the hearts of those around her. Her story cannot be measured by its length or defined by its hardest chapters. She was part of a family, part of a shared history, and part of a love that will endure.
Tiffany is survived by her loving parents, Mark and Nancy Clay; her longtime boyfriend, Ethan Mendlesohn; and her siblings and their families:
Her brother, Brian Clay, and his wife, Nicole, and their children, Jackson and Wyatt Clay; her sister, Kassy, and Josh, and their children, Julianna and Joshua Evans; her sister, Jessica, and Kyle, and their children, Finley, Chris, and Mason Hornbaker; her sister, Rebecca, and Maxwell, and their children, Paisley, Phoebe, and Dean Schmidt; her brother, Jordan, and Michelle, and their daughter, Stevie Rae Clay; and her sister, Megan, and Ben, and their children, Autumn and Scarlett Austin, Rowan and Emmett Hess.
Tiffany was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Kale Clay; her paternal grandparents, Shirley and Richard Clay; her maternal grandfather, James Brown; and her aunt, Sheryl Wardzinski.
Though these loved ones are no longer here to share this life, their memories remain woven into the story of a family connected by love, loss, and bonds that endure across generations.
As her family says goodbye, they do so with broken hearts, holding close the memories, the moments, and the love that Tiffany leaves behind. In the midst of grief, they find comfort in their faith and the hope that death is not the final word. May the promise of peace, the enduring love of family, and the hope of reunion bring comfort in the days ahead.
Tiffany's place in this family can never be filled by another. She will always be their daughter, their sister, their aunt, and their loved one. Her memory will live on in family gatherings, in shared stories, in the lives of the nieces and nephews she loved, and in the hearts of all who will continue to speak her name.
Rest peacefully, Tiffany. You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and held forever in our hearts.
