Timothy Michael Fuchs

It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Michael Fuchs, who passed on May 14, 2014 at his home in Apache Junction, Arizona. Tim was born on Aug. 28, 1946 in Slayton Minnesota, he lived in that area until 1965 when he enlisted in the Navy and served his country until 1969.

Tim is survived by his children: Sara Johnson-Lust, Matthew Johnson, Michael Fuchs and Brianna Fuchs; step children: Heather Fischer, Sarah Fischer, and Matthew Fischer; his Brother Dan Fuchs; his aunt Fran Meyers; his Grandchildren; and his life partner Cynthia Bosshart. He is further survived by nieces, other relatives and friends.

Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, sports, reading and having long conversations. He was always ready to discuss military history and sports and enjoyed the company of family pets. He also enjoyed working at the Mesa Swap Meet where he made many friends. Tim will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, proud Patriot and US Navy Veteran. We will miss his comforting presence, scolding comments, laughter and smile.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held at the home of Cynthia Bosshart at 5:00pm on Sunday May 25th.
