Velma L. Horton age 101, was born 1909 in Maimi,Arizona and lived in Arizona all of her life. Velma passed away October 27, 2010 at 1:07 pm at the East Mesa Care in Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lynda Shinn and her husband Walter Horton. Velma is survived by three sons, Jerry of Colbool, Missouri, Melvin, of Houston, Missiouri, Noel of Buckeye, Arizona,12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 geat great grandchild. Velma was cared for several months by the East Mesa Hospice, any contributiions can be sent to East Mesa Hospice. The Graveside Service will be Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7844 N. 61st. Ave., Glendale, AZ.
