Vincent Jay Corson

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the loss of my loving husband, best friend, and life partner. Vincent Jay Corson passed away peacefully on February 14,2022 after a very hard fought battle with cancer.

Vince was born on April 25,1953 to Jack and Vivian Corson in Kalamazoo Mi joining older brother Carl and sister Bonnie. At the age of 5 he relocated with his family to the Phoenix area. He has spent many years exploring and experiencing the beauty of Arizona and learning it’s history. He was always excited and proud to share his knowledge of the area with visiting family and friends.

Vince was very kind to everyone he met, fun loving, had a great sense of humor, and preferred to be outdoors. He loved music attending many live music events. He was an avid reader, history and geography buff and strived to learn something new everyday. He was a sports fan cheering for all teams Arizona and especially enjoyed attending Spring Training Baseball games. He loved to create, refurbish and repurpose things taking much pride in his finished products. We spent much of our time together planting flowers, building gardens and maintaining our beautiful outdoor living spaces where we loved to spend time both alone together and with our many special friends.

Vince was an honest, loyal businessman and most of his career was spent working along side his father at Corson Swimming Pools developing life long friendships with many of their employees, distributors and customers. After retiring at a young age he began summering on Rennie Lake in Northern Michigan. This is where we met and began our amazing journey of love giving us another beautiful area to experience and explore together.

Vince is survived by his loving and devoted wife Sindy Corson, cherished daughter April Jane Sayre (Shane), granddaughter Harmony Sayre, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and several close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer in Michigan. Details for service will be updated at a later date.
