

Virginia Becerra Padilla, 67, recently of Mesa, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016. She was born in Soyatan,Mexico to loving parents, J. Guadalupe Becerra and Antonia Garcia Becerra on May 21, 1948. Virginia resided in Mexico until 1972 when she made the move to Santa Monica, California, she settled in Hawthorne,California until retirement where she then moved to Mesa, Arizona to be closer to her son and enjoy her grandsons. She retired from International Rectifier in El Segundo,California after 34 years of employment in 2013. She is predeceased by her mother, Antonia Becerra and brother Pedro Becerra.
Those left to honor her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Armando Padilla and their children Armando Padilla II & Nancy Padilla. She is survived by her father J. Guadalupe Becerra and also leaves behind her siblings: Rosina, Maria Isidora, Soccoro, Sebastian, Rosario, Miguel, Lucia, Maria Guadalupe and Roberto. Virginia was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren who will dearly miss her, Nathaniel, Delilah , Armando III, Jacob, Christopher and last but not least Michael AKA “Miguelito"
A visitation will be Thursday evening, January 28, from 5 to 8 pm at the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Friday, January 29 at 11 am, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ. 85206. Burial will follow at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park.
