Vivian Emelda Grenier, 88, of Mesa, AZ passed away November 15, 2018. She was born November 21, 1929 in Matane, Canada to Albert and Albina [Chouinard] Tanguay and was the youngest of 11 children. At an early age, the family relocated to Rhode Island, where she and her family grew up. While in Rhode Island, Vivian met the love of her life, Donat Grenier; the two married on August 28, 1948 in Pawtucket, RI and started their family. Vivian and Donat had three children, Richard, Rachelle and Donna; while the children were young, the family relocated to Norwalk, CA where their children grew up. Vivian was a devoted wife and a “great mom” whose family meant the world to her. She was a very handy and artistic woman who loved to quilt and sew, and enjoyed attending various sewing and quilting classes. She made all of her children’s clothing while they grew up and even made a suit for Donat. Vivian is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Donat “Don” Grenier; son, Richard (Gail) Grenier;
daughters, Rachelle (John) Rehack and Donna Crick; nine grandchildren, Amy, Kenneth, Cory, Greg, Kevin, Kellie, Ryan, Scott and Mikey; five great grandchildren, Brody, Gavin, Lily, Noah and Damien and one sibling.
