Cody. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Phiona, Aria and Jordyn. Brother of the late Thomas Cusack, the late Mary Coughlin, the late Phillip

Cusack, and the late Helen Doggett. Walter graduated from Mechanic Arts High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from December, 1942 through February, 1946 receiving the World War II Victory Medal, a Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 stars, an Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 5 stars and an American Area Ribbon. He retired from the MBTA in 1989. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Knights of Columbus and the USGA. He loved to read and when active loved to play golf. He even had a hole-in-one.
