Wasn't that a beautiful service. I will just miss him so much.  Warren and I were first cousins, our Mothers were sisters.  But Warren seems more like a brother to me, he took the place of the brother I lost.
and maybe I was the sister he never had.  We could talk about anything and every thing.  And then he brought the beautiful Loralea into our lives, what a wonderful gift that was.  My parents loved them both so much, and now when Warren and Loralea would talk on the phone they always told me they loved me.  
Now there will be no more genealogy sessions, looking through old 
family photo's, no more domino's, pass four, or flip flop or the 141 garage sales in  Iowa in August. No more talk  about the  Riverview park.  Swimming almost every weekend either at Spring  Lake or Twin Lakes.  Our trip to California and to the Smokey Mountains.
But I will always love you Warren.

My earliest memory of my cousin,  Warren, was in 1955. Warren was 15 and I was 8. That summer, I got to spend two weeks  with Warren and his family. I asked Warren if he’d play catch with me and for the next two weeks we played catch everyday for as long as an 8 year old could play. Warren never said no that he didn’t want to play catch or that he was tired or I was bothering him.  He taught me a lot about throwing and catching  a baseball.

In later years, we played golf and even built a spec house together. Warren was a kind and generous man. He always made time for me and made me feel special.  I will miss his smile and unbelievable energy.

While visiting the Rushtons, we went several places , Indian ruins, Grand Canyon, . It was not an unusual occurrence to see Bro. Rushton, preaching  creation. He was rightfully nicknamed The Preacher.  His love of our country and its founding fathers is an inspiration.  
I was honored to have been able to spend time with him and Miss Loralea.

Warren has been such a good friend to me.  I will be missing him greatly.   I worked for Warren  part-time and sometimes full-time over the past 25 years,  working on hvac and plumbing design for buildings.  It was a real privilege working with Warren and getting to know his family members, such good people.   Warren is so unique, I have never known anyone like him.   My Friend.

Fond memories of Warren and other classmates have been shared with me by dad (Jerry White). So very glad Warren and dad were able to visit on his latest trip back to Iowa. Our deepest sympathies to the family. -Jerry White of Churdan via his daughter Stacie Croghan
