

Warren joined the U.S. Army at age 18 where he served 2 years before coming back to Minnesota where he became a Mercedes mechanic for 30 years. In 1988, he and his family moved from Elk River, Minnesota to Phoenix, Arizona. Eventually, he moved on to residential remodeling, including updating multiple properties and owning several rental properties. His last career move was to build custom furniture and cabinets, including building all the cabinets for his cabin in Show Low, Arizona.
Warren will be remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to talk to anyone, his ability to fix practically anything, and his love for his wife and family.
Warren is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glen. He is survived by his wife, Kathi Schauer of 59 years; his sons Jon (Debbie) Schauer; Terry Schauer; daughter Valerie (Schauer) Kuntz; granddaughters Ashley and Kelley Kuntz; and several nephews and nieces.
A visitation for Warren will be held at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Home - Agave Venue on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM with military honors to follow. Warren will be laid to rest at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park 6747 E Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206 immediately following the presentation of the flag.
At this time the family has asked that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Warren's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
