

Bill was born March 12, to Robert and June Felt in Rochelle, Illinois.
When he was 9 years old, his family moved to Tucson and then at 17 to Maryvale where he graduated from high school.
In 1967, he joined the Navy and was stationed on the USS Hancock. At the end of his 2 tours in Vietnam, he was selected for the crew aboard the USS Okinawa to pick up the Apollo 15 Astronauts.
Bill graduated with an AA degree in Liberal Arts from MCC. He worked in construction, building single family homes and apartments. He retired in 2014.
On December 5, 1981, his best friend and housemate Jerry set him up on a blind date with Susan. They were married in 1983 at St. Timothy's in Mesa.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to movies, D-Back games and traveling around the US as well as England and Scotland. He was Cardinal season ticket holder from 1988 until 2021 when he was no longer able to make the walk into the stadium.
He is preceded in death by his parent and Sue's parents Maurice and Betty Albrecht. He is survived by his wife Susan, one brother Bernard (Dawn) and many in-laws, cousins. nieces, and nephews. Thank you to his caregivers and staff at Acoya Memory Care and the staff and nurses at Hospice of the Valley especially his nurses Reese and Lauren and CNA Abel who became like family over the last 4 months. And finally, thank you to our friends and neighbors for all their help and support the last 3 years.
