You are still on our hearts as much now as you were then.  I think of you often and am always so grateful to have known you.  You accepted Taylor & me as family from the first day we met you, and treated us as such for the short time we got to be part of your life. I will always remember that.  I hope you know you were loved, and that we would have taken your pain away in a heartbeat if we could have.  I missed my birthday phone call with you singing "Happy Birthday", and all your silly jokes.  I hope you are up there singing your hear out, telling jokes,playing the most amazing harmonica ever and just knowing how much you meant, and will always mean to us. We carry you in our hearts forever and always.

I have so many cherished memories of you, I'm not sure where to begin. Of course there were the golf cart rides, going swimming at the pool, and all the candy you would give us as kids. But more than all of that, I'm going to miss the stories you would tell of when you and Nana were young, listening to you play the harmonica for us, or singing old songs that still remind me of you. It will never feel right without you here but I know you are back with Nana where you truly belong. I love you so much and will miss you. Thank you for all of the songs and memories.
