OBITUARY

William F Nastally

March 3, 1932October 31, 2012

William F. Nastally passed away October 31, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Jackson, Michigan to John and Mary (nee Trepka) Nastally, Bill arrived on March 3, 1932. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1950, and joined the U.S. Navy shortly after. He married the love of his life, Marie or better known as “Jean”, on April 19, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan. Together they spent 60 wonderful years showing each other how much they adored one another. Bill worked for Hallite Seals for over 20 years in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and retired in 1997. He was a member of American Legion Post #178. Bill never met a stranger. To know him was to like him. The true joy in Bill’s life was his family. To say he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather is truly an understatement. He adored and lived for Jean. Together they raised 2 beautiful children, and got to spend many years cherishing time with their 3 grandsons. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jean of Mesa, Arizona, daughter Mary Beth (Al Martinez) Hofferman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, son Michael (Nancy) Nastally of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, grandsons Michael, Ian, and Mark, sisters Gloria Meert, and Diane (Bob) Seffernick, and brother Robert (Mae) Nastally. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother John Nastally, and sister Jean Nastally. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 400 South Power Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422. Hello Jean, while it has been many years since I'd met you, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt sympathy for Bill's passing. I worked for Bill and Mike Griffin at Aeroquip in the mid-60's. I recall meeting you once and I just want to say he was such a gentleman and wonderful to work for. He, indeed, loved his family. He always had a kind word for everyone. God Bless you and I know Bill is in Heaven. Elaine Graham (formerly Mrs. James O'Dowd)

Jean...you won't remember me but Bill was truly a friendly guy...back in the 50's in Jackson whenever I saw him he was a very smiling person...used to see him at St. Joes and St. Johns Church...also knew Gloria and Diane.
God keep you in his arms...I lost my husband 12 years ago...it IS VERY HARD TO GO ON ...but with family and friends it's possible.
