William F. Nastally passed away October 31, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Jackson, Michigan to John and Mary (nee Trepka) Nastally, Bill arrived on March 3, 1932. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1950, and joined the U.S. Navy shortly after. He married the love of his life, Marie or better known as “Jean”, on April 19, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan. Together they spent 60 wonderful years showing each other how much they adored one another. Bill worked for Hallite Seals for over 20 years in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and retired in 1997. He was a member of American Legion Post #178. Bill never met a stranger. To know him was to like him. The true joy in Bill’s life was his family. To say he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather is truly an understatement. He adored and lived for Jean. Together they raised 2 beautiful children, and got to spend many years cherishing time with their 3 grandsons. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jean of Mesa, Arizona, daughter Mary Beth (Al Martinez) Hofferman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, son Michael (Nancy) Nastally of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, grandsons Michael, Ian, and Mark, sisters Gloria Meert, and Diane (Bob) Seffernick, and brother Robert (Mae) Nastally. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother John Nastally, and sister Jean Nastally.
