Bill proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, stationed in Da Nang in 1967-68. His career spanned executive management roles in the technology industry, where he was a respected leader. After retiring from the corporate world, he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by opening Coffee Cabana.
Bill’s greatest partnership in life was with his wife, Janice. For 57 years, they built a life together filled with love, shared experiences, and the kind of unspoken understanding that comes with decades of devotion. Through all of life’s ups and downs, they remained each other’s greatest source of strength.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bill enjoyed the simple joys of life—savoring a good glass of Cabernet, traveling the world on cruises, reading, and diving deep into ancestry research. He had an incredible ability to find humor in any situation, bringing laughter to those around him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janice; his daughters, Michele and Alison (Bill); and his grandsons, Tyler and Justin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kay and Harry, and his sister, Betty.
Bill’s laughter, leadership, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him—whether they were his family, friends, or just innocent bystanders lucky enough to hear one of his jokes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202, at 10 AM on Friday, February 28th.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s honor to Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society.
