He was born in Creston, IA on April 10, 1939. He was raised in Corning, IA and graduated from High School there. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
He was married to Carol Odell on July 30, 1961. He worked in finance for Peter Kiewit Sons and for AMF.
He was a member of Gold Canyon United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, hiking when he was able, playing cards and spending time with family and many, many good friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, children Kevin of Jacksonville, FL and Eric (wife Karen) of Downers Grove, IL. He leaves behind his brother, Lowell (wife Jan) of Apalachicola, FL, his sister, Nancy Hill (husband Lee) of Colorado Springs, CO., and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves so many good friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Nira Thomas, and a sister Marilyn Ingram.
No services will be held at this time, his ashes will be taken to Colorado.
