Ann Gaskin Pike was born in Bristol Virginia in September 1935, grew up in Austin, and graduated from Austin High School. She married, had two children, and the family moved to Mesquite where she lived until she passed in October 2018. She attended Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church as a member of the Women's Class for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband James E. Gaskin Sr., and second husband Bobby Joe Pike. She is survived by her loving sister, Jan Sinclair, and her children James E. Gaskin Jr. and Leigh Ann Gaskin Gonnet. Her grandchildren, Alex Gaskin and Laura Gaskin Thompson, and great-grandson Milo Thompson were sources of great joy.
Her smile and sense of humor served her well in her career in sales. She volunteered for over 20 years at Baylor Hospital downtown where she served so many hours she was honored with her name on a plaque.
