Mr. Antonio "Tone" Landeros, age 75, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, after a short battle with cancer. He was born September 12, 1944 in Marshall, Michigan to Luis and Adela Landeros.
Antonio Landeros was a very active participant in his church, Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Lansing, Michigan for 40 plus years and will be deeply missed. His church and his family were the two most important parts of his life. Music was his passion, he loved dancing and listening to his music. There was music throughout the house on any given day. Antonio was a true Cowboys fan down to the way he had his truck detailed. If you knew Tone he was always in cowboy boots, a Dallas Cowboy tshirt and whistling to his music.
Antonio was predeceased by his parents Luis and Adela Landeros and sisters Gloria Lozano Landeros and Olga Landeros. He is survived by his wife, Maria del Carmel Landeros of 51 years and children Gloria (Carlos) Huerta Landeros, Antonio Landeros; grandchildren Selina Maria Villarreal, Juan Carlos Huerta, Liam Collop;great grandchild Santiago Angel Salvatierra. Sisters Cruz (Francisco) Escojido, Maria Luisa (Genaro) Lam, Ramona (Antonio) Martinez, Vicente (Rosa) Landeros, Maria Elena (Roberto) Martinez, Oralia (Juan) Claudio, siblings whom all still reside in Michigan. And many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held at Anderson-Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home from 5-8pm. The Rosary will be held at 7pm, that same night.
Mass will be held at Devine Mercy of our Lord Catholic Church, 1585 E. Cartwright, Mesquite TX 75149. Service to begin at 10am.
A burial for "Tone" will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Laurel Oaks Cemetery, 12649 LAKE JUNE RD, MESQUITE, Texas 75180.
We will return to Anderson-Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home for a luncheon which will be served immediately after the burial.
