Benito “Benny” Arredondo, age 86, passed away June 8th, 2023. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 13th, 1937, to Jose and Margarita Arredondo. Benny was a retired Warrant Officer and had a career of 40+ years in military and government service. He was both an Air Force and Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jose M. Arredondo and his sister Olivia Forey. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria G. Villarreal Arredondo; sons Roland Arredondo, Benjamin Arredondo and Jorge Villarreal; sisters Ernestina Hernandez, Evangelina Hernandez, and Estela Arredondo; sister-in-law Rita G. Arredondo; numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, camping, hiking, carpentry, country music, history, family activities and playing dominoes with friends. A graveside service for Benny will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at 9:00 AM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 ( Lane 1) .
