Born February 15, 1929 in Franklin, Texas and went home to meet the Lord on January 29, 2021 in Rowlett, Texas at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her father Dr. Andrew Jackson Sharp and her mother Katie (Henderson) Sharp, her brother Dr. Joseph Sharp and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her daughters Cathie Dagley, Mary Whitehurst and husband Bill, Jerra Herrin and husband James, 6 grandchildren Ryan Pinson, Jay Pinson, Paul Dagley and wife Paula, Robert Dagley and wife Rosandra, Margaret Scolaro and husband Phil and William Whitehurst and wife Kalese, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
At the start of her working career she worked at Texas Instruments and then joined the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier where she retired after 20 years of service. Family and friends were the most important things in her life, next to her Christian faith which she held deeply in her heart. She also enjoyed the company of her pets and maintaining the legacy of "The Goose on the Porch". The family takes great comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
