Betty loved music and dancing, that is how she met her love. She also loved vacationing while sipping on margaritas. At home she loved gardening and all colors of flowers. She enjoyed shopping with anyone that would take her. She always looked forward to the State Fair of Texas because that meant the holidays were soon to come. She especially loved decorating, prepping and cooking for the holidays.
Betty was a homemaker most of her life and dedicated to raising all of her grandkids as well as many other babies who called her NaNa or Grandma Betty.
Betty was known for opening her home and heart to anyone in need. Everyone knew if they needed a place to stay, all they had to do was ask. She also fed anyone from the neighborhood, some would come by and ask for their sandwich and some would bring her a plate to fill, she would never say no.
