When my children, Ramie and Jerry Neal, were young, we lived a few blocks away from Betty and Larry. Ramie and Jerry loved to walk by their house because they always gave them ice cream. Betty and Larry always welcomed us into their home. Betty had a kind heart.

Aunt Betty and Larry were always there for me when I was in college. Just having a place to go on the weekends I could get away were a lifesaver. Betty and Larry always made room for me in their plans and their home. Many a weekend was spent fishing with Betty, Larry and Jim or out two stepping with Aunt Francis and Johnny, and sometimes Alice. I will always remember and be thankful for her kindness. Now she's with Larry, Francis, Johnny and her little brother. I know she's happy.

Betty’s youngest daughter is married to my oldest son. After my husband passed away I moved into the same assisted living apartments where Betty was living. She introduced me to her friends as her other mother because I was her daughters mother in law and she was my sons mother in law. Betty was one of the sweetest ladies that I know. Always smiling. Fly high my friend and tell Larry and Ray hello
