Beverly Ann Brown Lindsey, age 62, passed away on March 26, 2018 in Dallas, TX. She was born in Oak Cliff on May 27, 1955 to Logan and Beulah Brown. They moved to Mesquite, TX in 1966 where she met their neighbor Darrell. They couldn't stand each other at the time but six years later that all changed.

Beverly and Darrell got married on November 4, 1972. They soon had 3 children - Son Darrell Bryan and fiancée Jennifer Green, Daughters Jennifer Broyles and husband Matthew, Ashley Lindsey and fiancé Jerry Teems, Jr. They have 4 Grandchildren - Christian, Lukas, Skylar and Zackary. As well as numerous 'adopted' Children and Grandchildren. She is also survived by Sisters Betty Widener, Bobbie Sepeda and husband Albert, "sister" Brenda Tefend and husband Jim. As well as numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was a Homemaker taking care of the family on a daily basis. Her and Darrell attended Mesquite High School together not knowing that later their kids would become their alma mater rivals - the Stallions. This soon became a yearly friendly contest for bragging rights. As a family she loved to spend time together by going camping where they would play Uno until wee hours of the night. She loved taking the Grandsons to feed the ducks at City Lake Park. Her family and friends will always remember her as a happy, smiling, God Loving, Social butterfly who never met a stranger. She was willing to lend a helping hand when she could. She loved spending time with her Team Mesquite Special Olympics family seeing their smiles that beamed with pride and their big hugs - which she loved to give. She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, as well as her Brother Logan Jr. and his wife Barbara of Garland, TX. She will be missed dearly. We love you! YOU are our heartbeat forever.

I had only know Beverly from meeting her at our Special Olympic events but she always was there supporting all our athletes with the biggest smile to share with all of us and she has passed that spirit on to her daughter Jennifer who spreads that same smile and hugs to my daughter. What an awesome spirit mother and daughter share and we are blessed to have you in our lives.
Thank you, The Dziak Family - Stephanie, Bob, Cody and Lindsay

Beverly was the kindest women you would ever want to meet. She had a big heart for the Lord. She would share the Lord with anyone who would listen. There were times I needed prayer and she would let me know she was praying for me. I loved this women and I will miss her so much. There not enough words to say how much good she has done.

Bev, Bevie, Beenie Weenie, Sister, words can never say how much I will miss you. You came into my life when I was 4yrs old. We were constant companions. I took joy in teaching you so many things. I took your side when Mom scolded you. I made clothes for your Barbies and we played with them for hours. Bikes, trikes, scooters and skates wore us out and we fell asleep in our shared bed. Fast forward, you got married in my living room to the guy who was perfect for you. I will forever be grateful for him. He took care of you and gave me a precious nephew and 2 nieces who call me their second Mama. Our loss is Heaven's gain. You are not lost. you just changed address. Until that Day I love you Sister!
