OBITUARY
Bill Greer
March 2, 1934 – February 14, 2021
Billy Charles Greer, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on March 2, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to Clarence Leon Greer and Eula Pearl Flurry. Bill was raised in Dallas, Texas where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1952. He proudly served 6 years in the United States Army with a rank of PFC E-3. Bill married the love of his life, Marita Faye Standley in 1954 and together the couple had three children.
He had a successful career as Vice President at Rebuilders Supply Company where he worked for more than 40 years. In his spare time, he was happiest spending quality time with his family, fishing with his wife, and selflessly caring and doing for others.
Bill’s friends and family will always remember him as a devoted husband who adored his wife and put her needs before his own, a loving and caring father and grandfather who taught his children and grandchildren how to live well, and always encouraged them in their pursuits.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Greer Eustice. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marita Greer; daughters, Karla Greer, Kristie Moorman, and son-in-law, Robert Eustice; grandchildren, Kevin Eustice, Cody Eustice, Dustin Moorman and his wife Ivonne, Holli Moorman Mackie and husband DJ, and Bradley Moorman; great-grandchildren, Johnathan Eustice, Aubry and Madison Eustice, Julian Moorman and Evolet Abigail Moorman, Nathaniel Sayen, Marilyn (Minnie) Mackie, and Draven Mackie; and brother, Michael Greer and wife Suzy

Bill was a "stand up" guy. Kind, considerate to everyone, a man of integrity and exemplary character.
His love for Marita was always evident, putting her needs above his own. Will be greatly missed.
