

Edward Lee Robertson was born on August 4, 1939 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Hershal Robertson & Edna Greenwood. He was the middle child of three. He grew up on a dairy farm with his family. He worked hard on the farm to help out, and enjoyed riding horses while on the farm. He also enjoyed driving fast cars. He even used to race cars down Main Street, when he was a young man. He enjoyed old Western movies and actors such as Clint Eastwood and John Wayne After high school, “Eddie Lee” joined the United States Army. He proudly served during the Korean War in the Honor Guard and as a medic. He was a patriot, and we thank him immensely for his service and sacrifice for our country. Edward Lee was known to his family as “Paw”. In order to provide for his family, he worked hard as a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 198. He was also a proud member of the Mason’s Mike H. Thomas Lodge #1314. He was strong willed, a proud man who liked to “ruffle your feathers”. He also enjoyed driving…he just loved to drive and listen to old country music. On Monday, May 19, 2014, Edward Lee Robertson was called Home to meet his Creator. He was greeted at the Heavenly Gates by his parents, Hershal and Edna Robertson; his brother Howard and his great-grandson Jonathan. His life and legacy will continue to be celebrated and remembered by his loving wife of 46 years, Irene Robertson of Dallas; his four children: Theresa Stockton of Dallas; Jeannie Adams & her husband Robert of Granbury; Shelia Biggins & her husband Charles of Quinlan; Anthony Robertson and his wife Teri of Dallas; his brother Wayne “John” Chapell; grandchildren: Carolyn, Kenny, Douglas “Bubba”, Jakeob Lee, Adam, Andrea & Ashley; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
