Elena Sanchez, age 98, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1925 in La Guaira, Venezuela to Antonia Chavez de Nacero and Ramon Nacero. Elena married Fermin Sanchez in 1951 and the couple had two children. She was a warehouse worker for about 20 years.
In her spare time Elena enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and gardening. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put her family first.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fermin Sanchez and her great-granddaughter, Olivia. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, son, Charles Sanchez and wife, Sue and daughter, Norma Watson and husband, Gary; her beloved grandchildren, Steve, Angela, Jennifer, Melissa and Belinda; seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
