Elma Evelyn Perkins

Elma married Ruble Lee Little in 1945, and together they raised a large family of five sons and five daughters. Her life was enriched by her love for reading, sewing, cooking, gardening, and watching television.

While her earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the traditions she nurtured, and the love she shared so freely. She will be remembered not simply for the length of her years, but for the lasting impact she made on all who knew and loved her.

Across her 96 years, she knew both deep joy and profound sorrow, including the loss of several children and her husband she dearly loved. Through every season of life she remained a source of strength for her family, facing hardship with quiet resilience, grace and a heart full of enduring love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Minor Boston, and her children, Ann Richardson, Roy Little, Charles Little, Dennis Little, Donna Little, Kennith Little, Wayne Little, and Linda Little.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, located at 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, TX 75149, on March 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Elma Evelyn Perkins will be remembered fondly for her unwavering dedication to her family and her enduring legacy of love and loyalty.
