Frances was a very special person to me because she welcomed me into the family when I married Marlin Lenhart in 1990. One funny thing I remember was when Marlin and I were visiting with Frances and the girls and Frances was making gravy for breakfast. Marlin made a comment about the gravy and Frances said “it’s damn fine gravy”. Marlin made good gravy but his daughters make excellent gravy.
After Marlin had his open heart surgery in 2013, Frances told me she was so glad that Marlin had me to take care of him and her mom had Mr. Bill to take care of her mom.
I spoke to Frances a few days after the tornado destroyed their home and she told me how her and the grandkids were in the bathtub and Brian was hanging on to the toilet when the tornado hit but they were all ok. We spoke about the house and her comment was it was all just stuff and it could be replaced. The most important thing to her was that her family was safe.
Frances will be missed by so many because she brought love into where ever she was.
I will be praying for the family.
She is now in Heaven with Jesus and her family and laughing with Marlin.
