Gina Marie San Miguel Longshore

Gina Marie Longshore went to be with her Lord on March 5, 2016 in Forney, Texas. Gina was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 17, 1972 to Manuel San Miguel and Ernestina Morones but she was raised in Mesquite, Texas.

Gina graduated from Mesquite High School in 1990 and discovered she had a passion for education. She chased her dream of teaching education and became a Learning Lab Manager at Rhea Elementary in Forney, Texas. She loved her students dearly, and the students as well as the staff at Rhea adored her too.

A lover of potato chips and Diet Coke, Gina never passed up the opportunity to indulge on her favorites. She always put her children first, at home or at school, and no matter where she was she always lit up the room.

Her family describes her as the sweetest, most kind-hearted person they knew. Gina touched a lot of lives, was loved by everyone she met but especially her children, the ones at home and the ones she taught at school.

Gina is survived by her mother Ernestina Morones, father Manuel San Miguel, and daughters Alexandra Guzman of Kaufman, Texas and Ashlyn Longshore of Forney, Texas.

A Visitation will take place on the evening of Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on the morning of March, 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite, Texas.
