Gordon Ray Smith, age 88, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Gordon was born November 19, 1932.
A memorial service for Gordon will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A cremation will occur.

Pete and Darlene lived across the street from me on Blossom Lane. There were many times we would all gather with the neighbors outside in our lawn chairs enjoying potluck and adult beverages. Pete could come across a little grumpy, but we all knew he was this softhearted sweet man. I loved Pete and Darlene and will always hold so many sweet memories in my heart. Pete is now with our Lord and has been reunited with the love of his life. I’m sure Darlene was so excited to see him and was there to welcome him home. ❤️
