Gustavo Paredes Hurtado

Gustavo Paredes Hurtado, age 58, passed away on April 23, 2026, in Mesquite, Texas. He was born on April 20, 1968 in Coeneo, Michoacan, Mexico to Rafael Paredes and Delfina Hurtado. Gustavo was raised in Coeneo, Michoacan and moved to the United States in 1989.

Gustavo married Alejandra Molina in 1994 and the couple had four children. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his children, whom he loved with all his heart.

Gustavo moved to Texas in 2011 where he worked at Mohawk Industries for 15 years in various positions and most recently as a mechanic. He was loved and respected by all those he worked with.

In his spare time, Gustavo enjoyed playing his guitar and composing songs. During his time in Idaho, he was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church Choir. Gustavo loved playing, watching, and anything to do with his favorite sport, soccer.

Gustavo is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael Paredes and Delfina Hurtado, his siblings, Pedro Paredes, Dora Paredes, and Alejandro Paredes.

He is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Alejandra Molina; his children, Zaira Figueroa, Natalie Paredes, Alejandra Hymas, Ernesto Paredes; Two grandchildren, Isaac Figueroa and Aviana Figueroa; his siblings, Yolanda, Amalia, Irene, Rafael, Isabele, Guadalupe, Rosario, Patricia, and Juan Carlos along with many nieces and nephews.
