

He was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he spent his school years until his graduation from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
After graduation, Jack attended college at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls as a pre-dental student for two years, and completed his carpenter apprentice training of three years, building his passionate career in the construction business.
Jack proudly served our country during WWII in the United States Navy.
He was married to Mary Frances O’Dea and had two wonderful children.
During his life, Jack lived in several cities including Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, Texas, Kaufman “Ola”, Texas and Mesquite, Texas.
Jack had numerous hobbies that he enjoyed throughout his lifetime such as wood working, watching old westerns and wrestling, and reading. He was also a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Mesquite for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances Castles.
Jack is survived by his daughter Mary Cruz of Mesquite, Texas; his son Thomas Castles and wife Dutchess of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Franky Sanchez of Mesquite, Texas, Macrina Sanchez of Mesquite, Texas, Tyler Castles of Alaska, and Richard and wife Maddie Lee of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anthony and wife Stephanie Weaver of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Brandon and wife Charlene Weaver of Mabank, Texas, Cheyenne Lee of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Amber and husband Josh Thompson of Mabank, Texas; great-grandchildren Samantha and Lily Thompson, Taylor, James, and Jonahh Weaver and Emily Lee of Tulsa, Oklahoma .
