

Jackie Gwen Turner Green, was born on October 2, 1934 in Novice, Texas, just outside of Paris. She peacefully departed this life on September 6, 2025. Jackie spent her early life in the Paris area, later moving to Dallas.
Jackie graduated from Paris High School. She loved watching Soap Operas, or as she would call them, “my stories”. She always shared what was her love for riding the Ferry in Galveston and her pig, “Lulu”. Her favorite singer/actor was Roy Rogers.
Jackie had an incredible memory including knowing everyone in the family’s birthdays and anniversaries. She shared so many stories throughout the years up until her passing, and we will treasure them all.
Jackie is survived by her children, Celia and Bill Brown of Mesquite, Phyllis Green of Mesquite, Michael and Linda Green of Grand Prairie, Angie and Lawrence Branscum of Midlothian, Charlie and Virginia Green of Garland. She is also survived by nine grandchildren (Terry, Keri, Jenny, John-Michael, Chris, Cynthia, Jordan, Adam and Tori), thirteen great-grandchildren (John-Michael Jr., Isabelle, Gabrielle, Skylar, Priscilla, Chloe, Gabriel, Tyler, Mia, Daniel, Jacob, Collins, Valeria). In addition, she is survived by sister, Shirley and Skip Winchester of Mesquite and brother Denny and Sherri Terry of Mabank.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Green, son, Buster Green, grandson, Jeff Green, sister, Karon Musgrove, parents Hugh Turner and Blaine Terry, as well as other cherished family members.
Jackie’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
A visitation will be held to celebrate Jackie’s life on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite. A service will be held at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home on Friday, September 12 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. The family will greet visitors inside Grove Hill Funeral Home afterwards.
