Jeffrey Lynn Humphreys

After serving in the Army, Jeff moved to Quinlan, TX.

He was a HVAC Service Manager at Town East Heating & Air Conditioning, dedicating more than 36 years of employment until he became ill.

In his spare time, Jeff found serenity sitting on his back porch overlooking the lake, watching birds, and taking in the beauty of nature. He enjoyed fishing, working on his boat, and accepting any opportunity to repair anything broken.

Jeff's family and friends will always remember him as an amazing human being, always willing to lend a hand to help a neighbor or friend in need. He had a kind, thoughtful, and giving side, which he tried to disguise with his gruff exterior. Jeff was a great teacher, full of knowledge in the HVAC industry and life experiences. He embodied a strong work ethic, commanding respect from his peers.

Jeff's smile and infectious laughter will forever be remembered.

Jeff is preceded in death by his dad, George R. Humphreys, and his mother, Jetty Mae Humphreys.

He is survived by his two sons, Jonathan Humphreys and Jared Humphreys, as well as many family members and countless friends.

A celebration of life for Jeffrey will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
