68 Of Mesquite, TX passed away March 6, 2016. Born October 17, 1947 in Dallas Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Cleo Thornburg and two sisters, Kleta Doak and Mary Lou Costlow. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lucy Thornburg, his sister, Betty Jones, his children, Johnny Thornburg and wife Amelia, Jeff Thornburg and wife Tiffany, Jerry Dozier and Valorie, Charlotte Abell and husband Patrick. Also survived by his grandchildren Nicholas Thornburg, Ryan Thornburg, Dani Abell, Logan Thornburg, Macy Thornburg, Sami Abell, Coleman Thornburg, Brayden Thornburg, Levi Thornburg and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 4pm – 6pm and services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home, Mesquite, TX.
