Jerson Mathew Melendez

Jerson Mathew Melendez was born on April 4, 2012 in Dallas, Texas to Cesar Melendez & Lillian Selena Garcia. Jerson was a happy child who always made others laugh and smile. He had such an exciting personality, full of fun. His family called him “Vichito”. Some of his favorite foods were blueberries and pupusas. He loved to play all sports, especially basketball, soccer and football. He loved to watch movies with his family. Some of his favorites were Disney’s Cars, Despicable Me, because he liked the minions, and Frozen because he really liked the song, “Let it Go”.. He also liked to watch Caillou and Paw Patrol on t.v. while he played with his toys. On Saturday, August 16, 2014, little Jerson Melendez was called to Heaven. Though his life on this Earth was short, “Vichito” made a lasting impression on his family and those who had the privilege of meeting him. His loving presence will be missed immensely. His young life will continue to be remembered and celebrated by his parents: Cesar Melendez and Lillian Garcia; his grandmothers: Flor Cuellar & Erika Garcia; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
