

Jimmy was born in Mesquite on November 3rd, 1964. He attended North Mesquite High School before going on to earn his GED, and study photography at Eastfield College.
Jimmy worked in the automotive world for 40 years. Most recently, he worked as a parts salesman for Norm Reeves Toyota (formerly Cowboy Toyota) for the last ten years. He enjoyed all things cars, listening to his favorite music, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars, and spending his free time with his daughter, Ashley. Together, Jimmy and Ashley enjoyed going to concerts, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, watching football, and attending other various sporting events and races.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Ashley Rascoe, mother of his child, Krista Rascoe, his beloved mother, Evelyn Rascoe, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Randell and Cindy Fields, Kenny and Cindy Fields, and Billy and Linda Rascoe, his sister, Dawn Brokmeyer, his brother-in-law, Tom Boyle, and his many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his sisters, Vickey Boyle and Jana Wood, his brother-in-law, Donald (Charlie) Brokmeyer, and his aunt, Ruby Yarborough.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th with a viewing at 1:00 pm, and a service beginning at 2:00 pm, at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jimmy’s memory may be made to Texas Music Project.
The family of Jimmy Rascoe wishes to thank their wonderful community of family and friends for all of their support and help during this difficult time. The family also wishes to recognize the many wonderful friends Jimmy is survived by, whom he also considered his family.
