Survived by her husband Robert V. Jones of 50 years, children Debbie Raney, Ed Simmons, Sandy Erickson, her stepchildren Donald Jones, Lisa Longbotham, Suzanne King, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her only surviving sister Zelma Crane McNee.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mesquite for 73 years and worked for Mesquite ISD for 29 years.
Services will be on September 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Mesquite. Family to receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Mesquite.
The family would like to thank Jo Ann's caregivers Linda Mitchell, Teresa Winfrey and Sherry Davis for caring for and loving Jo Ann.
