John B. McClellan was born on June 16, 1916 in Paris, Texas to Louie Dupree McClellan and Lillie Frances Tharpe. He was one of nine children. John married Ruby in 1937 and they were married 71 years, until her passing in 2008. John & Ruby raised two sons, John Willie and Jeremy Don. In order to provide for his family, John worked for Ford Motor Company for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and being with family and friends. John B. McClellan passed on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie & Lillie McClellan; his sons, John Willie & Jeremy Don; his brothers: Lois, Marcell, Ondis; his sisters: Opal, Larene, Elmaritta. His life will be remembered and celebrated by his granddaughter, Jennifer Lee, Great-grandchild Megan Lee; brother, Ray McClellan and his wife Marie of California; sister Betty Lou Muncy of California; and many more nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He will be missed so very much.
