

Josiah Mateo Iniguez, age 9 months, passed away on October 3, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by love. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, in Dallas, Josiah brought immeasurable joy and light into the world during his short time here.
Josiah was a happy, sweet-natured baby who touched the hearts of everyone he met. His smile lit up the room, and his spirit brought comfort and joy to his family, caregivers, and all who knew him. Josiah was deeply loved, and his presence was a blessing. He quickly became a favorite among the staff in the NICU at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where his courage and warmth inspired many.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Anyelina Navarro Rodriguez, and loving father, Isaiah Matthew Iniguez; his big sister, Natalie Nevaeh Iniguez Navarro, who adored him dearly; grandmothers Jeannie Garcia and Daneysi Rodriguez; grandfather Norlan Navarro; cousins Brigida, Allison, and Amaya; three uncles and an aunt who loved him very much.
Josiah is preceded in death by his grandfather, Victor Manuel Iniguez Sr., and his great-grandmother, Rosie Rivera Garcia.
Though his time with us was brief, Josiah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will forever be remembered as a bright, beautiful soul who brought happiness, strength, and love into the world.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite to honor and celebrate Josiah’s life.
