Joyce Ann Spozio

Joyce Ann Spozio, age 91, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born January 28, 1930 in Mansfield, Texas to E.M. Grubbs and Sallie Ann Grubbs. Joyce was raised in Mansfield, Texas and graduated high school in 1947. She married Ernest (Ernie) Spozio in 1948 and the couple had 2 children. Joyce was a homemaker and worked in sales at Sarah Coventry where she worked for more than 30 years and was awarded top seller in the nation 4 years.

In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed traveling, camping, dancing and being with friends and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a devoted wife and mother and always having fun wherever she was.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ernie Spozio; parents, E.M. Grubbs and Sallie Ann Grubbs; in-laws, Ernest and Josephine Spozio; 9 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her son, Stan Spozio and wife, Frankie; daughter, Lisa Weaver and husband, Scott; sister, Sally Stuart; grandchildren, Jennifer Rowell, Jamie Pallett, Stan Spozio III and wife, Melanie, Brandie Coffman and husband, Tony, Brittany Weaver and Taylor Weaver; great-grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Justin Davis, Dylon Spozio, Riley Pallett, Scarlett Spozio, Skiler Pallett, Sadie Coffman and Lilley Coffman and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149 with burial to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
