Juanita Ramirez-Rositas, age 73, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Rockwall, Texas. She was born on January 16, 1948 in Gonzalez, Texas to Edubigen Ramirez. Juanita was raised in Gonzalez, Texas. She married Jorge Rositas and the couple had 4 children. She was a mother, grandmother, and a homemaker.
In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed eating chicken fried steak at her favorite restaurant with family and friends, dancing (especially to Selena), and enjoying the love of her grandkids. And occasionally, she couldn't resist an ice cold coors light. Her family and friends will always remember her as a constant provider of her love and support. A warrior with a heart of gold.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jorge Rositas, her son Jorge Martin Rositas Jr., her mother Edubigen Ramirez, father Frank Cerda Sr., and brother Raymond Cerda. She is survived by her daughters Rachel Rositas-Galicia, Mary Rositas, and son Roy Rositas. Son-in-law Daniel Galicia, daughter-in-law Clarissa Rositas, grandchildren Gabriel Rositas, Andrew Galicia, Nathanial Davidson, Ashton Kaveh Miranda, Natalia Davidson, Ethan Galicia, Naticia Davidson, Anden Paul Miranda, and great-granddaughter Marina Rositas. Sister Gloria Cerda, brothers Frank R. Cerda, and Jessie Cerda and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation for Juanita will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Friday, May 14, 2021 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75228.
