Linda Diane Greer

Linda Diane Greer was born on May 18th, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. Diane passed away on December 16th, 2021 in Quitman, Texas. She graduated from Samuel High School in Pleasant Grove. She spent most of her career working for Baylor Hospital as an Office Manager for Cardiovascular Surgeons. She was a long time member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for a number of years and later transferred her membership to First Baptist Church of Quitman, Texas. She genuinely cared about everyone she met and had the gift of gab and joy in her heart through Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She served as full time caregiver to her son, Justin Paul Greer, for the past 7 years who passed away in September of this year with a severe form of muscular dystrophy. She will always be remembered for being the rock and guiding light of encouragement for her sons, family and friends.

Family members who preceded her death include her father, Linus Morgan, her mother, Mozelle Morgan Tuley, her brother Larry Morgan, her brother Terry Morgan and her beloved son, Justin Paul Greer.

Family members who survive her death include her son, Todd Ashley Greer, her Sister, Sandra Mitchell, Her brother David Morgan, Her Sister-in-law, Alecia Morgan, Her Sister-in-Law, Lisa Morgan, her Cousin Gloria Essler and her nephews and nieces including Christopher Morgan, Amber Coleman, Antez Coleman, Zach Morgan, Dena Hunter-Oldham, Stephanie Morgan James, Chance Morgan, Kira Kline, Justin Kline, Lacey Bastian, Justin Bastian, Ashley Mitchell and Johnathon Morgan and last but, not least her beloved 4 legged grandbabies Kulhaus, Kuipo, Jeddah, Kozy and Ruby.

A visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
