

Lottie Mae Harper Kent was born January 12, 1935 and passed on September 25, 2021. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to so many. She was a born again believer that attended Brother Jerry Griffin’s Sunday school classes and the 1st Baptist Church of Forney.
Her hobbies were vegetable and flower gardening. She loved to sew, making quilts and aprons for all those who were dear to her. She also made some porcelain dolls. She had a very, sweet, sweet spirit. She loved with a big heart and gave generously.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kent, her parents Jess L. and Lelar Bell Harper, her brothers; Elvis, Tommy, Benjamin, and Gaylen, her sisters; Charlene and Pauline. Also, her son-in-law Milton Lee Bailey, Sr.
Those who are left to cherish her memories are Kathey Bailey, Katrena Jones, Roy Barber, Stefanie and Travis Doyle, Lottie and Clint Fowler, Milton Bailey Jr and Courtney Bailey; great grandchildren; Lia, Preston, Saylor, Caeden, and Savannah; her brother Joe Harper and family, sister; Linda Jones and family; nephews Bill Cooper, Robin and Tom Munn and family.
She will be in our hearts and minds forever and truly missed.
A visitation for Lottie will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149
