Mrs. Lou E. Hill, age 84 of Mesquite, Texas said goodbye to her family and went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2019. She was born in Denton,Texas on December 3,1934 to parents Arthur and Minnie Schoppaul. She was employed by Texas Instruments as well as Mesquite Independent School District. Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and she also loved gardening and listening to music.She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Warren Hill and son Mike Hill.She is survived by son, Gary Hill and wife Debbie; daughters, Donna Ieppert, Becky Meusel and husband Johnny, Connie Stephenson and husband Charles, Kim Goble and husband Ricky,and daughter-in-law Barbara Hill. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and a host of friends to cherish her memories. Lou will be remembered with much love and respect. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.

Many years ago, Lou discovered that Jerry and I had an interest in old country and religious songs, just as she did. We spent a long while in conversation while listening to a few favorites. I will surely miss visiting her every Christmas! Sleep peacefully with the angels, Sweet Lady!
