Maria was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on August 15, 1946, to Timoteo Torres and Carmen Ortiz. Maria was married to Jose Pesina for 53 years.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Pesina.
Maria is survived by her sons Jose Angel Pesina and Arturo Pesina, daughter-in-law Monica Pesina, her granddaughter Julissa Pesina, her brother Patricio Carizalez, Luis Torres, and her sister Selsa Tovias.
Visitation will be held from [4pm- 8pm on September 8th] at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home with the Rosary taking place at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30am on September 9th at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Committal will immediately follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held from 3pm-7pm at The Galiston on Main.

A Funeral Service will take place at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 1404 Old Gate Ln, Dallas, Texas 75218, on September 9, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220, on September 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
