One thing I know about my mom is that she’d do anything for this man right next to her, meaning if she had the chance to see him one last time she’d take it. I remember times when my mom would sit back and till me stories about her and my papo, how she’d jump how high for him, cut the grass, cook his favorite meals, run to the store for him, make sure he was ok or taking his medicine correctly that was my mom, the one who always made sure everyone was great instead of herself but the funniest part was even if he yelled at her just a little bit she’d get teary eyed hearing his voice change, my mom was a big baby. But she also was spoiled by her daddy. So I know my mommy is in a better place with him and they’re both looking down watching over everyone.

I’m her last child, everyone knew my mom was my best friend. They also knew how much she spoiled me no matter how many times they could of told her to stop babying me, I was always going to be her baby girl. So many great memories to cherish but all my favorites were me making her laugh till she nearly peed herself, you know, when you get rib cramps, teary eyes or those “I can’t breathe moments”. Yea, the good old days, both of my brothers would annoy my mom so much about her needing to be more of my mother then my friend but for some reason she was always able to be both. Mama was constantly reminding me to be a independent woman, the “I don’t need a man to be happy” speech . I guess she was wanting me to be strong the way she was, or not having to depend on anyone, work hard and provide for my own kids. She loved her 3 children till she took her last breath. But man she loved her grandkids more, Kailynn? That’s my niece, oh boy she’s a mini Marianne. It was like two peas in a pod, till I had my son Ashton than that was like her little minion but until she seen my daughter Aaliyah those 3 babies were her world, she’d put them before us... it was like Candelario, Eric and Me all over again . My mom, was a amazing grandma even if she did spoil her grandkids way too much, she was like a superhero to them especially if she knew how to rescue them from being in trouble, she had the effect on all 3 to the point where they were to attached, all you can hear is “Nana”, “dada, mommy, I want nana”... she was definitely the coolest! I’m glad the kids were able to meet there grandma, experience the loving and caring woman she was, she natured all of us but she will not be forgotten... we all will see her soon..
- Love her princess..
