Marie was such a special lady to so many. She was so kind and sweet. When she was tickled, I loved the way she would lower her head, smile and chuckle. She had so much love for her family, friends, and the Lord. She will be greatly missed! ❤

Marie was the sweetest lady I ever met. I never heard her say a negative word against anyone. She was always smiling. I can still hear her saying “Jack” when he would bring greasy car parts into the house. I know she is with her Savior Jesus Christ. Also she is happy to be with the love of her life Jack and seeing her beloved sons David and Bill.

Marie was always a lovely woman to everyone who knew her, a treasure to all her friends—as Lucille Maher will be the first to tell you. I can see her still, in the office at Good Shepherd School, a reassuring presence, especially when any of us were sick or in trouble with one of the nuns. Marie and John were always great friends to us Mahers. May God bless her entire family.

We Mahers all loved your Mom and Dad!! Such good people and such great friends to our folks! In fact your Dad refurbished the typewriter I took to college - and I still have it! Your Mom was so very kind and gentle, such a lovely and great lady!

Hold closely the great memories!

So sorry to hear of your loss James, John and extended family. She was a beautiful sweet lady with a heart of gold and a most wonderful Aunt to us all. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and was fortunate enough to see her year after year at the O'Rear reunions. We love her deeply and will always remember all the years we were able to be close to her in Garland and thereafter. She was loved by all but more so by all those wonderful grandchildren she had around her... Bless her and the entire family. Jim and Joyce
