Mary Beth Truitt

Mary Beth was born in Hamlin, Texas on December 23, 1930, to Dennis and Ellie Featherston. She graduated from Gatesville High School and continued on to get a business certificate at Draughns Business School in Dallas, Texas. Mary Beth was married to Charles Robert Truitt on September 2,1950, and they were married for 71 years most of which they lived in Mesquite, Texas.

Mary Beth was a stay-at-home mom for her three daughters, Pamela Kay, Paula Alaine and Susan Deann. She also kept numerous other kids which included several grandkids and other family members that she treated like her own. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Her favorite times were the times she spent with her family.

Mary Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Ellie, her husband, Charles, her daughter, Paula, and all eight of her siblings.

Mary Beth is survived by daughters, Pamela Kay Wheatley (husband, Denny) and Susan Deann Watt. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sheri, Jack, David, Joseph, Denise, Jay and Tyler along with eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on August 29, 2025 at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home followed by a reception at the funeral home.
